Why does my fee drop?
Your platform fee is per sitter relationship: 18% on a first booking, 10% after one completed booking together, 6% from the third on. Rebooking the same sitter costs you less every time.
What protection do I get?
Pay on VettedTails and your money is held until your sitter accepts, refunded in full if the booking is cancelled after payment, and itemized so you always see where every cent goes. If something goes wrong, you have 48 hours after the booking completes to report it to us.
How do payments work?
You pay when your sitter accepts, through Stripe. Your sitter is paid out after the booking completes — money never changes hands off-platform.
